Ability to mark threaded messages as read, delivered separately

Currently, when a particular message is marked as read, all preceding messages, including thread messages, are also marked as read, even if they haven't been viewed.

We need the ability to mark threaded messages as delivered/read individually, ensuring that only when a threaded message is actually read, it is marked as such.
