Ability to Mute/Disable Specific Notification Channels (Email, SMS, Push) Individually per User

Currently, the CometChat platform provides a Do Not Disturb (DND) option through the MutePreferences, which disables all notification types (email, push, SMS, etc.) for a user when enabled. is helpful for scenarios where users want to mute all types of notifications.

However, there’s no built-in functionality that allow end-users to selectively disable specific types of notifications such as muting only email notifications while still receiving push or SMS notifications. This limits flexibility, especially in applications where users may prefer to control their notification preferences more granularly based on their personal preferences or usage context.
