Currently, modifying the existing payload is not supported, but we would like to request the ability to modify it on the client side — for example, to add metadata in the payload.
We’re excited to let you know that support for customizing the notification payload on the client side is now available. This enhancement allows you to modify and tailor the payload before the notification is displayed.
